RECIPE: tortilla pizza


family favorite tonight - tortilla pizzas! my husband LOVES these. he requests them every day for every meal.


tortilla pizza
1 whole wheat tortilla
2 tbs tomato sauce
2 tbs shredded mozzarella
toppings of your choice!

take a whole wheat tortilla, spread with tomato sauce, top with your favorite toppings, pop it in the oven for 8 minutes at 400F, done!

RECIPE: superfood smoothie bowl


horse sized multivitamin pill or delicious bowl of superfoods that has the same nutrients? DUH. i like to add a little less liquid to mine to make it more pudding like and top it with some frozen fruit, almonds, and oats. how do you get your daily dose of nutrition? interested in trying it? send me an email at blauserwellness@gmail.com!

1 scoop strawberry Shakeology
1 cup water
1 cup ice cubes

blend ingredients together and finish with the toppings of your choice!

RECIPE: banana pancakes


breakfast is an important meal around this house! my husband often works on different time zones and isn't home in time for dinner so we always make sure that we have breakfast as a family together. and these banana pancakes ( or eyes 😉 ) are often on our plates because they're so super simple and healthy! ONLY two ingredients - seriously!

banana pancakes
1 ripe banana
2 whole eggs

mash banana and whisk in eggs. cook as you would any other pancake! 
these are also a huge hit with my 9 month old. he eats a whole batch himself 😳

RECIPE: peanutty peanut butter cake


sometimes i eat cake for breakfast... but it's a healthier version!

peanutty peanut butter cake
1 1/2 cups all natural smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup raw honey ( or pure maple syrup )
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1/2 tsp baking soda

mix all together and spread in oil coated pan. bake 20-23 minutes at 350F.

RECIPE: grilled pork wrap


love when my lunch is so colorful! wraps are my go-to for lunch because they can also be eaten on the run! 

grilled pork wrap
1 whole wheat tortilla 
3/4 cup grilled lean meat ( i chose pork that i rubbed with a smokey southwestern seasoning )
1/2 cup romaine lettuce
1/2 cup red peppers
1 tbs shredded cheddar cheese
1 tbs plain greek yogurt

RECIPE: broccoli salad


this is a family favorite that i've turned into a fix approved dish!

broccoli salad 
8 slices turkey bacon
2 heads of broccoli, chopped
1/2 large red onion, chopped
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
2/3 cup plain greek yogurt
2 tbs sunflower seeds
1/2 tsp salt

mix it all together and enjoy! my parents sometimes add cheddar cheese and raisins for even more flavor!
